TGI FRIDAYS in collaboration with Summercliff introduced a Facebook application to promote its new Superfood Menu, ‘What's in your Superfood?’
The main focus of the promotion was to inform fans that TGIF’s menu caters for all; it caters for meat lovers, for vegans and for health conscious consumers. The promotional game also aimed at providing nutritional information for the newly created Superfoods category while engaging with consumers in a fun way.
The application required that players spotted the correct ingredient out of four options which belonged in the featured superfood. In addition 3 participants were rewarded with valuable prizes, ranging from iPad Mini to Cash Vouchers worth €50 & €100.
The promotion was supported with an aggressive and targeted Facebook Ad directed at people who have not yet ‘Liked’ TGIF’ page. This exciting campaign created a viral response on Facebook seen by thousands of users.
